# Disallow detailed record access but row is still clickable

This is a template you can use to report issues. You can also drag images, videos and include `Preformatted text`

## Expected behavior

When, in a collection settings, I uncheck the checkbox “allow detailed record access”, I expect the user to not be able to access a detailed record.

## Actual behavior

The user can still click on table rows, and get a “you don’t have permissions” message, they think it’s a bug, and notify me

Hi @francois_Ruty,

Thanks for your feedback!

As of today, disabling the record detail display means making it unavailable for users. Thus the “error” message reflects the fact that you are unallowed to access it.

However, I’ll share the feedback on being able to click on the records detail for this case.

IMO if detailed view is not accessible, rows should not be clickable
