# How can we display the alert or prompt message to user when new value selected from dropdown

## Feature(s) impacted

> Not able to display the new value selected from the Product dropdown.

## Observed behavior

> Not able to display the new value selected from the Product dropdown.

## Expected behavior

> Whenever users select the new value from the dropdown we can display the prompt or alert message to the user with the help of change hooks that “You have selected {productName} product, Are you sure want to continue with this ?”
