# Is it possible to hide sidebar menu programatically?

## Feature(s) impacted

We are trying to embed Forest Admin in our web application, and we want to hide the sidebar menu programmatically, ideally through query string.

## Observed behavior

No such option or similar alternative is provided by Forest Admin

## Expected behavior

Options are provided to manage UI elements through code

There is no way of doing this programmatically at the moment. I’ll add your suggestion to our product board.
