# Roles configuration

I’m configuring the roles, my ui doesn’t have the same option as explained into the doc([Manage roles and permission levels - Documentation](https://docs.forestadmin.com/documentation/reference-guide/teams-and-users/manage-roles)), see the screenshot of the doc and my dashboard

Welcome to our community and thanks for your message! 🙌

You’re right, you are on the former version of the roles system at the moment and that’s why you are not seing the same screens than in the documentation.

I guess you are interested to move to the new version?  
To do so, please give me your project name and I will make sure you can migrate to the new version.
