# Smart action not working on production

## Expected behavior

Hello, i try to create smart action on summary.

## Actual behavior

I can create smart action in development, all work fine but i don’t understand why, when i try it in production, i can’t use it, the button is grayed out, could you help me ?

Hi @ldaubie, you probably juste need to make the smart action visible by doing the following:

- Enable the layout editor

- Access the collection settings (through the cog next to your collection):

- Then on the smart actions tab, you should be able to make the smart action visible.

For security reasons, newly defined smart actions are made visible by default on development environments but not on remote ones.

Hi, thanks for your answer, but i already mark it as visible, before, i could’nt find action, now i can but still can’t click on it…

@ldaubie , it might be a role issue, could you please check on your project settings that the role assigned to your user has the right to trigger this action on your production environment?
