# SmartAction dynamique data between fields

Hello, i wanna create a dynamique interaction to improve the user experience on smartAction.  
for exemple :  
we have two filed on this smartAction:

- dropdown
- date  
if the user select on dropdown (this year,this month, this day) , the date field will change automaticly according to the selection

Firstly, [here](https://docs.forestadmin.com/documentation/reference-guide/actions/create-and-manage-smart-actions/use-a-smart-action-form#making-a-form-dynamic-with-hooks) is the documentation for hooks with the smart actions. The `hook` property for the field and the `change` property on the action will do the work for you.  
In order to give you further help, if you need some more, I will need more information about your project :

- Agent (forest package) name & version: …
- Database type: …
