Admin user forbidden from all CRUD operations on Collections, no ability to set permissions in Roles

All CRUD operations on Collections are forbidden.

Observed behavior

User is an Admin, and assigned to a Role. When I go to the Roles there is no ability to add permissions for certain collections

Expected behavior

I would expect to be able to add permissions for collections and have CRUD access

Failure Logs

Developer console is showing 403 forbidden

Context

We just updated the forest_liana gem from 7.x to 8.x
Our production 7.x has no issues

  • Environment name: Staging
  • Agent technology: Rails
  • Agent (forest package) name & version: forest_liana 8.3.3
  • Database type: PSQL
  • Recent changes made on your end if any: Update from v7 to v8

Hi @KidA001,

Have you followed the V8 release note?
Starting with v8, the forest_liana gem uses the new role v2 system. You need to follow this procedure to migrate your v1 role to v2.

It says I need to:

ask someone from the Forest Admin customer success team to switch your project to a “Ready to migrate” status.‌

So can someone here do that for me?
