How to get my list in data table by API

Dear Forest Admin supporter!

Example: I have a employees list which stored in database table.
I can export employees list by excel easily.
How do I can get employees list by API too? Forest admin is available API which generated automatically? or I must create API myself by a third party service?

I’m not sure I understood you.
Do you have an existing project ? You want to add a collection available only through API (no table in your database) ?

Oh, then you might be interested in Smart Collections. This will allow you to implement your own logic to retrieve your data :wink:
