Best Practices for Customizing Forest Admin Interfaces and Performance Optimization

Hello Forest Admin Community,

I’ve recently started integrating Forest Admin into one of my projects and I’m really impressed with how it streamlines admin panel creation. That said, I’m looking to deepen my understanding and optimize both the customization and performance aspects.

Specifically, I want to:

  1. Customize the interface extensively — I’m interested in going beyond the basic out-of-the-box layouts. I’d like to know the best approaches for creating highly customized views, including dynamic forms, custom widgets, and tailored actions. How do you usually structure your code to keep customizations manageable and maintainable? Are there recommended patterns or practices you follow to avoid code bloat as your admin interface grows?
  2. Performance considerations — Since the project deals with relatively large datasets, I’m keen to hear tips on how to keep the admin panel responsive. How do you handle data loading efficiently? Are there built-in Forest Admin features or community tools you recommend to optimize queries, paginate results, or cache data effectively?
  3. Real-world examples or pitfalls — If you have any practical experiences where certain customizations or performance strategies worked really well (or didn’t), I’d love to learn from those.

I appreciate any advice, code snippets, or resources you can share. Also, if there are upcoming webinars, docs, or even an azure training in pune that dives into these topics, please point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance for your help
