Relation field link not display until having been clicked

I have a table B displaying some relationship fields coming from a table B, however the reference field I have in table A of B is not being displayed, before I press on the non displayed reference field.

In table B, the reference field is set to name for example. But what is weird, is that this does only happens when the reference field selected is a string. If I choose to reference it by its Id, which is a number, there is no problem.

Has any of you ever had this problem ?

Expected behavior

Show a string reference field in a relationship.

Actual behavior

Not showing the reference field, but is empty, however, still clickable. But does not happen when the reference field it is a number, only had this problem with strings.

I just tried and I can not reproduce your issue:

I may have missed something though.

• Could you tell us the type of display widget used for your related field? To do so, click on layout editor, then on the cog of the field then check the name of the selected widget. Also, could you check if there is some conditional formatting configured (click on the cog just beside the display widget configuration)?
• Could you make a small video with non-sensitive data (or blurred data)? it could help us a lot in analyzing the issue.
• Does this issue happens on all table or only some specific tables? If so, could you check the configuration of these tables against your other tables?
