Copy one collection layout to another team

What is the feature?

I would like to be able to copy the layout of only one collection from one team to another team (or eventually to another environment).

What problem does this solve for you?

I have a collection with many columns (38 columns).
Many of them should be displayed as prices.

I have setup the layout for one team, and all is fine.

But the UI actions needed to set it up are very long.
For being able to display 26 columns as prices, with cents, and setting their input mode, I calculated that I had 286 clics to do.

Please explain how it would help in your case.

You can easily imagine that it would be very helpful to be able to copy this final layout to other teams that need it. Without it, this is a very large waste of time required for the setup.

Who else would be using this feature?

I’m sure this feature would save a lot of people a lot of time.

We will be soon releasing changes which drastically improve the development workflow on Forest Admin.
Even though the feature you’re inquiring about isn’t part of the improvements, it lays down a solid foundation for later iterations which could include it.
