How To Keep Line Breaks In Database When Editing?

Hi,

We are using a MongoDB & all of our records have line breaks in them. They include certain emails we’ve had with customers, etc.

However, when I go to ‘edit’ & save a field in Forest Admin - it removes the line break that was initially in the field.

I notice that in Forest Admin it doesn’t even show line breaks as well, it’s just one large string of text.

Are we doing something wrong here? On Mongo it shows it with line breaks, but Forest Admin fails to show the same…

Could you please make sure that your field is configured this way ?

Text area / Multi line text should allow the behaviour that you are looking for.
