Very hard to setup Forest

Observed behavior

I’m trying to get Forest running. My first try I wanted to use cloud version. I couldn’t because of IP Address issues. Now I’m going through advanced setup. I’m getting to the part where it’s supposed to be making the Javascript frontend or something like that. I’m using Docker. I’m now getting an error of “docker: invalid reference format”. There’s no Windows installer and I’m not an expert at docker. No clue what to do next.

Very Frustrating.

Hi @hsheldon,
Thanks for reaching out to us.

Unfortunately, it will be difficult to provide support without more details about the steps that you followed during the installation process.

Regarding the error message that you did provide, it seems like it is related to Docker, and not Forest Admin itself:

If you are using Windows, maybe this thread on StackOverflow can help you out.
Please let me know if you manage to make some progress and/or if you require further support for Forest Admin specific issues.
If so, it would be helpful if you could provide the type of project that you are trying to plug Forest Admin on: database type, framework if any, language, os, and so on,

Thanks,
Regards,

@Nicolas.M
