Welcome to Forest Admin Community Forum. We’re glad you’re here! Can you tell us a little about yourself? We know introductions aren’t always easy so here are a few questions to get you started.
What programming languages and frameworks do you use?
What made you choose Forest Admin for your project?
Do you have any Forest Admin smart tricks that we can check out?
What other tools are you using to simplify your life? What’s your favorite?
my name is Riccardo and I am Head of Adoption at Forest Admin. Nice to meet you!
I am here to help build a great developer community.
A Physicist by training, I have had my sweet days coding in C++ and Python, but I also don’t mind NodeJS, Rust, Go and other more modern programming languages. I was born and grew up in Milan, but currently live in a small apartment in Berlin. In my life I have designed the Open Source strategies of large groups such as Mozilla and the Italian Government. My coding roots date back to being a KDE hacker (I founded WikiToLearn). I started in 2004 and still contribute a few patches from time to time. The automation tool I love the most these days is Roam Research, a note taking app which allows you to think about complex problems in a structured way.
When I am not working you can find me in a local farmers’ market, eating some delicacy or simply enjoying nature.
I am very excited and Glad to integrate this great community. I am an M&E manager for a local and international organization working in Haiti. I involve as a developer to program required tools based on Django, Java, and PHP. I get a computer science degree above all in database and system integration.
I’m taking over an existing project which uses Forest Admin. I’ve never used Forest Admin before so I’m putting a lot of effort into ramping up on Forest Admin quickly.
I’m a freelance full stack web developer (mostly JavaScript of course but also a bit of Python) based in the US. I live and work full time out of my van while traveling around the country (fun fact about me )
If anyone has any good resources for picking up a thoroughly built-out Forest Admin project. Better yet, if you have experience doing the same, I’d love to chat.
