Smart Actions - unable to access advanced and approval settings

Observed behavior



Unable to view Approval settings and other columns like ‘only visible to the following users and roles’ in the admin panel UI.
In project settings → Roles, I see no smart action yet in smart action permissions.

Expected behavior


Assign the accessibility of a smart action only to a few roles such as engineer.

Can you confirm the project name is colending (Lower-cased)?
On your 2nd screenshot, I can see that you try to modify the dev environment, but you mentionned development in your message.
Both of these environments does not have the same version of the agent running, so I’m guessing that they do not run the same code.

Development environment are not directly impacted by roles, and you’ll need to deploy to a production environment to restrict access of a smart action to specific roles.

I am on the development environment. On development env, we cant/ wont assign SA’s to roles right?

Indeed (Having roles in development may block developers to work on some part of the code)
Once you have a remote or production environment, you should be able to setup roles as you’d like :slight_smile:
